What is the license on this? I'm working on an indie RPG based on old-schoo, 8-bitl JRPGs, and these backgrounds would be perfect for combat scenes.
Alright, I will not be using the asset. Honestly kinda weird that you're anti-open source when that doesn't necessarily change the license of your art, but I'll go another route. Thank you for your response.
Just to be clear, I'm not anti-open source, I actually love open source projects, the reason that my paid assets can't be used open source games is that the the raw asset is avaiable to anyone, and can be considered redistribute the files, which is against most licenses that I saw.
Wich that In mind, I'm considering pulling this from the license, because maybe that's discouraging people to using open source projects, I will reply to you if anything change.
Thank you for your response.
Well, it's my understanding that an open license on the source code (the definition of "open source) does not mean a necessarily open license on art/music/sound/video assets, due to the way art is licensed differently from code, legally..
How do I launch the game on my folder
Hi, lovely set. Can I use the assets to create a Twitch (maybe future YouTube/uploads) overlay or e.g. brb-screen scenery?
Noob question, is it possible to use your backgrounds in GB Studio for instance?
PS: Congrats for your amazing work, it's very nice!
Hi! yes you can use in any engine that you like, I not very familiar with GB Studio, but any question you can post here!
There is the pixel art forest too. It's your music?
Very good atmosphere! ;)
Feels like JetPack Joyride!
Hi, just want to make sure, can we use/share a purchased asset to more than one game/ more than one game developer?
Or it just licensed as a single product (one license for one game only).
You can use as many games that you like! you just can NOT re-distribute the file to another person. If you work with a team of course that you can share between your colleagues. I'm searching for a right license to link to this assets sinse alot a people have doubts about that.
Hi, really sorry if it make confusing, the music that I use in the video it was just a free music that I got from youtube itself!
When I try to cut the sprite sheet it doesn't align perfectly. What is the size I should use to cut the character sprite sheets?
Amazing art! Best $10 ever.
Hello, me and friends are organizing a small speedrun contest. We are interested to use images of this demo for our trailer, so we would like to know if you agree that we can use the demo for free. I specify the video is intended for a small audience and will not be monetized. Thanks to you.
Hi, sorry I don't understand what did you mean, what demo? If you buy the asset you can use commercially or whatever you want, or you can download the free ones and you can also use commercially.
Hi, I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply, about that... I design this background for a infinite runner game, so I do not made a tile set. Right now I'm very busy, but maybe in the future I can made tilesets for this pack!
I bought it, but the PNGs seem to be in low quality when enlarged?/:
I'm sorry, what software are you using to enlarge? What did you mean with low quality? blurry?
Scale image with GIMP with Quality>Interpolation>Set to "None" :)
What's the license?
